The most attractive places in the UK

Talking about the most popular places in the UK I can mention Oxford and Cambridge, Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of W.Schackspear, London with its beauties, Scotland with its famous cliffs and , nevertheless, Northen Ireland with old traditional houses.
Here you will see the attachment where you can watch a wonderful video about the most attractive places from the UK.
Firstly, it is London, the capital city of The UK and Great Britain
πŸ‘‰https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvF9ZxfRlRc

Secondly, I would like to mention Oxford and Cambridge, by the way, you can use this topic to describe the best Universities in the UK :)
πŸ‘‰https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVyJDV6igLk

Thirdly, the wonderful nature can be admired in Scotland. If you are fed up with noisy dusty and crowded cities the place where you can stay in silence and just refresh your mind and breathe deep fresh air, see the gorgeous views of waterfalls and small pieces of paradise you definitely should go to the North part of the United Kingdom.

Finally, but actually, it is so difficult to say finally because describing and talking about the beauties of nature or some historical places you can without any end.

Civilization topics :)

The education system in the UK

The education system in different countries is more attractive for us as when we start talking about Moldavian curriculum.
But actually all the system has a curriculum and all the students around the world hate the school.
Nevermind which country we are talking about, which subjects we mention the children hate school for different reasons.
Some students say the homework is too difficult or it is just too much, the other complain about the teachers, that some teachers are too severe the others too boring and some schools do not even have the teachers at some subjects, or moreover, the teacher of mathematics teaches physics, chemistry, and physical education or English.
So the reasons to skip the lessons are different but the requirements are the same. The students need to study and just to be present at the lessons because anyway they will study at least 30 percent of the lesson.

Education is compulsory and we have to follow the system :)

So what about the UK?!ᐚ

The most adorable task our students should accomplish.
Here are the list and some links the students can use to improve their knowledge upon some civilization topics.
1. General description of the country. Here you should think about what country you would like to talk about. I mean English speaking country ( The UK, The USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand) or maybe

So,  I would like to continue talking and helping you, my students, with the baccalaureate in the English language.
Today I came to an idea why we teachers insist on having an oral exam too. I guess it will be very useful and motivational for some students to study English, especially nowadays.
The majority of the students who graduate the schools enter the world where they need first of all to talk, express their opinions, ideas and needs.
Secondly, some of them are ready to find a job abroad where the first requirement is the English language and then the capability to work.
Others remain here in their native country and are looking for a good vacant place that also requires a foreign language. Just a few percent of students apply the skills of correct writing at their workplace.
So oral examination can motivate the students to study English at school.
I would like to help the students to improve their skills to pass some written exams.
Here are the links that can be used as for written so for oral examinations.
I would like to pay attention mostly to the words, YOU need to improve your vocabulary.

☝☝On the right side, you will see the topics that you are interested in.
Moreover, there a lot of exercises where you can practise your vocabulary while fulfilling, ticking, choosing the right answer, rewriting the sentences or just listening the videos and accomplishing some tasks.

☝Another useful link was discovered today by me and i guess it should be a great exercise for you my dear students. Here you can find the link to the most common synonyms and antonyms in the English language.
πŸ‘‰http://www.smart-words.org/list-of-synonyms/list-of-synonyms-and-antonyms.pdf

I always advise my students to use English-English Dictionaries as online so offline
Hereby i attach some links, try to use them if you want to succeed in your exams :)

πŸ’Why English-English Dictionaries? First of all you improve your vocabulary, secondly, you try to guess the meaning of short simple sentences or phrases later you understand the whole story:)

BAC! BAC! BAC!
When students hear this word they are getting scared of the cameras, supervisors, tasks, teachers, school, lessons, marks and their future.
It is difficult to tell anybody about these exams that are almost decisive in our students' lives. To tell the students that they should be calm and just sure in their own abilities and just to keep their heads up and go forward. Any students nowadays have the ability and enough capability to pass these exams. The 12 years of studying is a period that leaves the marks of the hard teachers' work and it does not matter was the student writing or  reading  or listening or doing his or her homework. The most important he or she was present at the lessons, participating somehow accomplishing some easy or difficult tasks. The all are different, everybody has his own ability to get information or to remember some points from the lessons.
Anyone can pass the exams. But are you satisfied with the results? Are the teachers were teaching you in such way that you remember or understand some information?????

So long discussions are just for those who like just argue and debate these topics but i think we should act.
I propose my students to start to do something to pass these exams and to create better future even if they are going to remain or to go abroad, they should be ready for any situations.
I will help you be sure!
I am going to give you some tips to pass English or German exam easily but of course I need your effort :)

Cheat Cheat

But who told you that this wrong?!

First of all cheating develop several skills like -choose the idea that you need and parathrase it; then reread the topic once again-as you know repeating is better than learning by heart :); moreover cheating some dates and afterwards develop the idea -increase your imagination and logical structure- That is cheating!

Now -What is wrong about this?

we steal the ideas and we do not want to develop ourselves-it is criminal :)

The solutions?!

  • Give the students easy explaining topics-interesting for them

  • Do not charge them with the themes or subjects that they never will accept .

    • Make the lessons in a such way they would like to cheat and imitate you but not your papers.

    • Support them encourage them accept their own ideas and opinions but not fail the papers just because you do not like them.

Poster-a simple paper with some images or maybe colourful photos, sometimes real :), and of course  info that was asked by a Teacher :?
What about some more attractive- Glogster proposed by BBC.  Informative Attractive Talkative Movable!
The sites like Infographics, Glogster and Thinglink-are for those who want to create an attractive poster but more memorable one.
This week I decided to impress my 12 th Form students with  easy remebered information for their civilization topic- England and the USA.(http://sdalby.edu.glogster.com/the-differences-between-england-and-america/?=glogpedia-source ). Do you know the next lessons while answering my questions i noticed better results for remebering some facts and info. It was perfect . even the students that are mostly passive like the idea and asked about the possibilities to create such lively posters by themselves. I think you are not going to punish me for sharing such a great treasure ;)))
Another tool is a Bulletin Board. You know i do not use it so often for information, but i like when my students works are shown there, their achivements and results. They are really proud of themselves and give example to other students motivating them to create something more and more attractive and interesting. it can be a postcard in 5th Form, a recept of a national dish in 6th form, a favourite country in 10th form, a disease in the 11th form or some arguments for/cons in 12th Forms.
It is great to sue some new tools but i like my students CREATIVITY :)))
   UPS @@@
One more my lesson plan-) I will show you somehow but attached it in my moodle class.

Still learning analysing and developing.  This week the interesting one and more practical-they make me work very hard :)

So  after exploring Visuwords-these moving vocabulary i was really impressed and attracted by the colours the wide vocabulary that is provided just Click on ;)  It is going to be really cool for 7th form. For example if in 8th form i am going to study  the topic -Film, i will for sure use a "brainstorming" proposed by Visuwords. The students can create  it by themselves and to complete with proposed expressions.

Lingro-is really useful for 9th and 12th Forms because their vocabulary should be improved not only with simple words but also with   Phrasel verbs and their different usage.

The 9th Form was really interested when i proposed them to define the word-to judge, after the presenting results we introduced the word in Lingro-they were astonished, that English has so many expressions with jus a short word-JUDGE ! Now they use the site at my lessons and improve their vocabulary.

http://www.engames.eu/office-equipment-vocabulary/

https://prezi.com/uf46tc8ug18c/edit/#1_95982358
Some days ago i was talking with very intelligent teachers about the sites that we have to use while teaching new generation, the most of sites that we use  actually everyday while talking or chatting with our students. the most popular are Facebook, Twitter, Odnoklassniki , but what about their necessities?!
For example, i like Facebook -the site  where i can share different useful things and be really informative for my students and not only. English School of Future (https://www.facebook.com/) the page where i am always online and if my students have some questions that can easily contact me there, find the answers even the home assignments.
I would like to give my students an example of intelligent and informative page where they can find out more interesting things and sites for their homework and not only, just be informative about the English and German world.
To show that Facebook is not only the site for sharing your personal life style , pictures in clubs and WC or shopping of fashion dresses,  But the site for studying where you can find friends from the whole world and communicate, being helpful, useful and open and just holding smart discussions while sharing pictures and articles.

But if you ask me about my private life- i can  surely tell you i have a life in SCHOOL and my personal life, so two sites. I have different friends even, School friends and Another life friends. they are different, all of them are interesting but for different occasions and purpose.
Why should i share my own , private life with the people that i have a relation TEACHER-STUDENT?!
The teachers  becomea topic for discussion when she or he shares the two personal pictures or info, they become a topic for gossips and rumors, and sometimes not so positive even hurtful , and soon they lose the respect, the students do not respect them and do not consider them as mature or even an example of a good teacher but just a simpole friend, that can be betrayed or supported.

I would like to be respected and to be a personality for them , they can be proud that i am their teacher, that they are not ashamed to show their parents and even their friends, but to raise their heads showing  LOOK  She/He is my TEACHER!!!

We have decided to become teachers -to teach the others, youngers so let do it in a right way!!!!!

Tongue Twisters ")

If you ask me "what is it?" i will find an aswer like if you want  to "break" your tongue you can use the following. You these are tongue-twisters. If you want to speak like an English man you should go to England, to admire the beuaties and anciet places of small paradise full of historical building.
However , if you wish to use American slang Listen to their rap, hip hop, or even rock, of course if you can catch the idea, because sometimes i guess even they do not understand what their songs are about.
So if you want to practise your English or improve it try to tell these tongue twister. Twist your muscles.
One-one was a race horse. Two-two was one too. One-one won one race. Two-two won one too.
One smart man, he felt smart. Two smart men, they both felt smart. Three smart men, they all felt smart.
A big black bug bit a big black bear,
A big black bear bit a big black bug.
The batter with the butter is the batter that is better!
Green glass globes glow greenly.
No need to light a night light on a light night like tonight.
William always wears a very warm white vest in winter.
The great Greek grape growers grow great Greek grapes.
When you write copy you have the right to copyright the copy you write.
Wow, race winners really want red wine right away!
You know New York . You need New York . You know you need unique New York .
Shut up the shutters and sit in the shop.
That handsome man standing with his back to the track has a hat in his hand.
Come, come, Stay calm, stay calm, No need for alarm, It only hums, It doesn't harm
Mr Grey is waiting at the railway station for a train.
We need tea for three, please, for Jean, Steve and me.
I scream, you scream, we all scream for icecream!
